Ride Description:

Ride about 3 miles up Cement Creek Road. (At just over 2 miles is a singletrack on the left that will take you right to Walrod Gulch Road if you prefer. Stay high at the one fork.)On your left is a rough jeep road up Walrod Gulch that follows a creek, take this road. About half a mile up this road a distinct singletrack goes left uphill, take it. It is the signed Trail #418, Walrod Cutoff. This singletrack continues to climb and then contours back above Cement Creek Road.

Eventually the trail tops out at an intersection with Trail #409 that comes in on the right. For the Walrod Cutoff ride continue straight. There are great views along the way before you dive back down to Cement Creek Road. Right on the road takes you back to the highway.

Please take care to walk your bike over any existing muddy sections to minimize trail damage.
